Home health with a twist

WEST FORT WORTH, Texas (Dec. 16, 2015) Damika Heltzel loves the new business venture she has embarked upon with her mother. “It’s pure joy,” Heltzel said of the new business, Firstlight Homecare of Weatherford, which she started with her mother, Karen Kennedy.

While Parker County has many hospices, Heltzel said she noticed there weren’t many services that focused on in-home care with the intention to make the elderly more self-sufficient within their own homes.
