About FirstLight

Home Care is Not a Career, It’s a Calling
We know your first priority when choosing a home care provider is finding someone you can trust and rely on… someone who will care for your loved one as you would, and as we would our own. We’ve been where you are, and this is one of the main reasons we chose to be in this business.
Lindsey Combs, Executive Director
Lindsey has been with FirstLight Home Care of Fort Collins and Greeley, CO since right after the doors opened in September of 2015. Lindsey has worked in the health field since she graduated high school. First, she got her CNA license and worked at a local nursing home, where she found a love for the elder community. Shortly after, she was offered a position at Banner health in Greeley at NCMC. Lindsey spent 10+ years working all over the hospital as well as floating to rehab centers, psychiatric care, nearby hospitals for floor care, and staffing these facilities. Lindsey continued to work for Banner all the way through nursing school, where she completed her LPN and EMT certifications. As a native to CO, not only is she the Executive Director of FirstLight, she keeps busy raising her 4 children (Preston, Noah, River, and Tymbur) with her husband Adam.
Kathy Riches, Nursing Director
Kathleen (Kathy) Riches is our Nursing Director, she joined the agency in June of 2023 and helped us along the path to a medical license. Kathy began her career in 1984 working in a med surg unit. Once she had accomplished her BS degree she entered the Navy. While serving in the Navy she gained the confidence and skills needed to further her career. Kathy enjoyed her time spent in the Navy immensely and will always hold a special place in her heart for our Veterans. Once separated from the Navy, Kathy held a variety of positions in various hospitals throughout the country, working in many fields of Nursing – med surg, ICU, CCU, rehab, oncology, dialysis, psych, cardiac rehab. But while she enjoyed them, something was missing.
In 1996 Kathy started a career in Home Care and hasn’t looked back. She fell in love with having one-on-one time with patients, getting to use all of her experiences to help the patient, and truly enjoyed working with the elderly population. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys reading, counted cross stitch, and baking. She also loves spending time with her 3 grown children – Mj who currently is working as a Post Doc at CSU studying leaf emissions, David Ryan who works as a scheduler for UC Health and Alex (my son-in- law) who is an aspiring novelist and quite excellent (but she is biased).
Lacey Bean, HR Director
Lacey Bean is our HR Director and business partner. Lacey has been working with older adults for nearly the entirety of her career. It all began when she worked at a retail location that catered to baby boomers. After finishing her B.S. in Human Resources Management, Lacey began her professional career working at a Retirement Community where she gained meaningful and hands on experience. Funnily enough, Lacey left the industry for a stint of 6 months for an opportunity she could not pass up. It was a great role and one she enjoyed, but it did not take long for her to realize that her passion is in the Long-Term Care industry. She returned as quickly as possible and has been working with FirstLight Home Care since then, in 2016.
