I’ve been using First Light Home Care for about a year now to assist me in caring for my mother who has dementia. I’ve been very pleased with their services and their caregivers. The Operations Manager, Joyce, responds to my calls quickly … More and has always come through for me, even on very short notice. I’ve worked with several different caregivers and they’ve all been experienced, reliable and, most importantly, caring and patient with my mother. I highly recommend First Light to anyone seeking a caregiver and I plan to continue using them for all of our home health aide needs. -
I have requested only women to come and take care of me while I regain my independence. Each of the ladies has been super understanding of my need to keep pushing myself and have been very encouraging. We have also told one another stories … More about ourselves, which has made for a very comfortable and fun experience. First Light has been just wonderful to me and I will,be recommending the service to everyone I know. It was so wonderful that first night back home to have a Caregiver already in place. It was very easy to schedule care via Joyce at FirstLight. They were incredibly helpful in supporting my family and I as we took care of our dad after a fall that led to a concussion. Oscar from their staff was a tremendous help in making … More sure my dad was well cared for while I was at work. He was a wonderful companion and was very helpful in making sure my dad was bathed, fed and his injuries were tended to. Would definitely recommend FirstLight to others. -
I needed to find someone trustworthy to help care for my 97 year old father. I interviewed several agencies in search of a company that would be able to provide a caregiver based upon our specific needs. First Light came through with … More flying colors. The entire process was straight forward and everyone I spoke with was helpful, and compassionate and sensitive to our needs. Joyce in particular was incredible. She was able to find the perfect caregiver for us as Aizhen (Lisa) was an incredible match and had the exact qualifications that we were seeking. Unfortunately, we only used Lisa for several days before my father fell ill. I was worried that placing a hold on the services and eventually cancelling the services would be a nightmare, but I simply texted Joyce and she cancelled the account. I could not have asked for better customer service from Joyce. She always responded to my texts within a couple of minutes and she genuinely seemed sympathetic to my family's loss. I could not recommend a better agency than First Light when looking for agency to take care of a loved one.
