Franchisees, team members honor Caregiver of the Year during national conference

CINCINNATI, OHIO – October 17, 2023 – FirstLight Home Care, a leading provider of home care services, is pleased to honor Marketa “Kitti” Tikander of Southern Maine as its National Caregiver of the Year. Tikander was nominated for the award by Jessie Gartland, Managing Director of FirstLight Home Care of Southern Maine.

More than 50 Caregiver of the Year nominations were received from FirstLight Home Care offices nationwide. Candidates were evaluated on several attributes, including service excellence, quality of caregiving skills, and the ability to bring the FirstLight Home Care culture to life.

Tikander was one of three finalists this year. The FirstLight Home Care network of franchise owners, operators and team members recently celebrated with her during the company’s annual conference in Orlando, FL.
